Liebster Blog Award

.

Challenge: You are What You Read

.

I saw this sort-of challenge here about last week (I think), and thought that it would be a nice way to look back at what I've read this year. You are What You Read Challenge contain 16 questions (?) that we have to answer using the titles of book that we have read this year. Surprisingly, I can answer most of the questions with reasonable answers. Since I haven't prepared any yearly wrap-up post yet, so let's just be satisfied with this short-version one. Here it goes~ :3
You are what you read! Using only books you have read this year (2013), answer these questions.Try not to repeat a book title.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 14 - Deal Breakers

.

Honestly speaking, I didn't really understand today's challenge at first. The 14th challenge is to 'tell us your deal breakers'. In my mind I was thinking, what is 'deal breakers' actually? I'm really sorry for my lack of understanding (or vocabulary). But after reading other people's posts related with this challenge, it seems like deal breakers is things that would turn me off from a book. There are actually various things that could turn me off while reading. What are the things that could turn you off from a book? Share your own deal breakers or join the challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 13 - Underappreciated Book

.

It's the thirteenth, and today's prompt is quite challenging for me. It says to 'describe one underappreciated book EVERYONE should read'. I'm not the type of person who likes to recommend books to other people in the first place. So this challenge is quite difficult for me because I understand that people have different likings towards books. But I will try my best and share a book that I think is a little bit underappreciated and doesn't get the attention it deserved. Have you ever read a book that's good but underappreciated? Share it in the comments, or join the challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 12 - Blogger Fatigue

.

Even though it hasn't been that long since I started blogging, I can't deny that there are times when I'm facing blogger fatigue - which sucks. So today's challenge is to share 'how do you fight blogger fatigue?'. But for me, blogger fatigue don't just go away when you fight it. I kind of just have to live with it sometimes. Blogger fatigue will come especially when I'm too busy with college/work stuff, but still have to write book reviews and such on my blog. Do you face blogger fatigue? How do you overcome it? Share on the comments, or join the challenge here :)

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 11 - Show Off Your Best Blog Posts

.

The 11th challenge is to show off 5 of your best blog posts! I've written more than 350 posts so far, and it's not easy to choose the best ones - since I don't really remember much. And I'm also not the type of person who likes to show off much. So I'll probably just take the easier way by listing my top 5 popular posts of all time (which I can see through the blogger dashboard). I kind of predicted that a giveaway would be in the top 5, but it turns out it's all book reviews which gained so many views. Join the challenge here if you're interested :)

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 10 - Choosing What to Read Next

.

10th challenge, 5 more! I am writing this ahead of time and scheduled them, just because I'm afraid I won't be able to write anything due to preparations for the holidays in the next few days. Actually it took me a long time to think about today's challenge. The question is "how do you choose what book to read next?". Few years ago, I used to have this weird way of choosing what book to read next - but now I don't do it anymore. Do you have a special way to choose your next book? Comment down below to share or join this challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 9 - Why Blog About Books

.

The question for today's challenge is a question you could ask to any book-bloggers out there. "Why do you blog about books?". It's actually a question I've never thought of before, because I sort of 'accidentally' became a book-blogger. So I guess this is a good opportunity to really think about why I blog about books. Do you have a specific reason why you blog about books - or made a blog in the first place? Share your own reasons in the comments or join this challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 8 - Blog Appeal

.

The 8th topic for this challenge doesn't really have a relation with books, but it's more about the blogging part. This time, the challenge is to quickly write 15 points of things that appeal to me on blogs. For this post, I'm not only focusing on book-blogs but also any other blog in general (because 15 points seems a lot). Is there a specific appeal you like to see on blogs? Share your opinion about blogs, or join this challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 7 - Blogging Quirks

.

It's the seventh day, and I haven't miss any yet, yayy! ;D So today, the talk is about book-blogging quirks. I have been book-blogging for almost two years now, and I find it extremely fun to do because of my love for books and reading. I have also developed several blogging habits throughout those days. I don't know if my habits can be considered as quirks, but I will just share them here, for fun at least ;) If you also want to share your own blogging quirks, write a comment down below or join this challenge here.

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 6 - Book Shopping

.

I'm so excited about the 6th topic of this challenge, because it's one of my most favorite thing in the world: book shopping! This is something I already mentioned in the 1st challenge, so I guess it's no secret. The challenge today is to "describe how you shop for books". In this post, I'll share about how I choose a book to buy, where I buy them, and all the other stuffs related with book shopping. I assume everyone has their own habits in terms of book shopping; so if you do something differently compared to mine, feel free to share in the comment box or join this challenge here :)

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 5 - Tear Jerker

.

Today's theme for the challenge is tear-jerker! ;___; Actually, there are not that many books which makes me really sad. But those that can really make me cry (or at least become so overwhelmed with emotion), are always well-written books. When I read the book and I had the urge to cry, I don't really sob it all out - I probably just shed a tear or two. But this kind of book will make me think about it all night and I feel clouded by sadness; as if the book I just read is real. So here's a tear jerker that I'd like to recommend :) If you have another great tear jerker book, I don't mind if you recommend it to me as well :)))

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 4 - Last Book I Flung Across the Room

.

I'm actually a little bit confused with the fourth topic. Is it a book I hate so bad which made me throw it across the room? Or a book that has too much feels and gives me the urge to throw it? Well after blog-walking through several other blog posts to this challenge, it seems the choice is up to us. And I never literally thrown a book across the room, I sort of just slammed the book down. And my choice for today's topic, is a book with serious cliff-hanging problem. I have serious objection towards cliff-hanging, which is why I always wait for the series to end before I read them (like I said in 1st Day Challenge). But I seriously have no idea this book will have a sequel. I kind of flung the book across the room (in my head).

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 3 - Blogging BFFs

.

It's the third day! And the topic for today is blogging BFFs :) My parents always said that I don't have as many friends as my brother (practically because I'm an introvert, and he's an extrovert). I've been book-blogging for almost two years now, and indeed I've made new friends along the way (especially since I joined BBI - Blogger Buku Indonesia). Although it's probably too early for me to say they're my BFFs, they're really great friends indeed (especially when talking about books) :)

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 2 - Bedtime Reading Ritual

.

The second day of 15 Day Book Blogging Challenge: Bedtime Reading Ritual! Compared to the first challenge, there's actually not that much to talk about in this one. But this post contains my two favorite things: sleeping and reading. So without further delay, I will just quickly share about my night-time ritual. For those of you who'd like to join, go here - and also don't forget to link your challenge posts too :)

15 Days Book Blogging Challenge: Day 1 - Confessions

.

I come across something very interesting at http://surgabukuku.wordpress.com/ and http://lustandcoffee.wordpress.com/, which is a book blogging challenge created by http://goodbooksandgoodwine.com :) I am really happy when there's this kind of thing (sort of like 55 Reading Questions like I did last year, which is extremely fun to do). As the title stated, I will have to do this for 15 days (I'm not sure if I'll be able to do this everyday, but I promise to do all 15). So here goes day one: Make 15 Book Related Confessions. (For those who want to join, the image for complete challenge below :))
