July, July New Books

July, July. Don't be scared.

it's actually pretty late for me to do a monthly greeting, but better late than never ;) happy July! i guess i've been doing a lot of things since late June and also had a trip with my parents. i started this month with a meeting with fellow BBI members from Surabaya in an event at Gramedia Expo called Kompas Gramedia Fair (KGF). it was a very happy time for me to be able to talk about books and stuffs with them. nice to know you all! :)) i have to honestly say that my new books for this month are piling up! especially my English books TBR list are getting higher each day :1 more photos and links on my new books below ;) this month i started to prepare for my next semester, registering classes and all that. the schedule is pretty tight, but i hope i'll survive well. my holiday is only until the end of July, and i won't get to sleep late anymore... sad. i hope this semester will be interesting and fun; wish me well this semester! ♥ ♥ ♥

so talking about books, there are about 13 new books that i've got recently. this time mostly are from the bookstores, unlike my usual habit to buy everything through online-shops - just because it's fun. unfortunately, when i stepped into Periplus, the books are very tempting and i can't stop my hand from grabbing them and taking it to the cashier. 3 books i got from KGF event at Gramedia Expo; found Canting by Arswendo Atmowiloto - one of Indonesia's great author; as well as a Sherlock book; there's also a free Hetty Feather i got from Gramedia's representative. Currently reading the translated version of My Name is Kim Sam Soon written by Ji Su-Hyun. More links for the books down below ;)

1. The Enchantress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, #6) by Michael Scott
2. Hetty Feather by Jacqueline Wilson
3. The Return of Sherlock Holmes (Kembalinya Sherlock Holmes) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
4. Canting by Arswendo Atmowiloto
5. Sepatu Dahlan by Khrisna Pabichara
6. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith
7. The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Alred (recommended by a friend)
8. The Serpent's Shadow (Kane Chronicles, #3) by Rick Riordan
9. Chairul Tanjung: Si Anak Singkong by Tjahja Gunawan Diredja
10. My Name is Kim Sam Soon by Ji Su-Hyun
11. Khokkiri by Lia Indra Andriana
12. Blues Merbabu by Gitanyali
13. 65 by Gitanyali

well that's all for July's monthly greeting! wishing everyone a great month ahead, and never stop smiling! work hard instead of giving up! ;)) bye!
