I can't believe it's been more than a year since my last recap 🫠. As we've been slowly returning to our usual life routine these days, I didn't have much time to watch as many TV series/Korean dramas this year. It was also quite hard to spare time to write this recap because I was busy catching up on my book reviews 🤣. Now that I'm all caught up with my book reviews, I decided to work on this post as a change of pace—it's been a while since I last wrote a non-review post on this blog. In today's post, I will share my thoughts and opinion on 12 TV shows I've watched from March 2022 until March 2023. Hopefully, it won't end up being too long to read 😆.

Some time has passed since my last post recapping the TV series and Korean dramas that I watched during the pandemic. I've decided to officially make this an ongoing series on my blog because I think I will be watching more shows in the future, and it's always fun to write something like this once in a while. I will do a recap post once I've watch enough shows; and in this one, I will be sharing my thoughts and opinion on 9 TV series/Korean dramas that I've watched from mid-2021 until early-2022.😊

TV Series Adaptation Review: Shadow and Bone Season 1

It's been a few months since I finished watching the TV Adaptation of Shadow and Bone, and now I have finally mustered the motivation to write a review about it. I started watching this series right after I finished reading the first book with the same title, Shadow and Bone; and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the TV adaptation included characters from another series by the same author. I think that's what made watching this adaptation feels different compared to my reading experience. Even though I already know the plot points from the Grisha trilogy, there are other characters with their personal agendas that keeps the story intriguing for me. There are 8 episodes in this first season; and in this review I will share the overall plot and discuss my thoughts on this TV series adaptation 😊.

TV Series & Korean Dramas I Watched During the Pandemic

It's been a little bit more than a year since I last wrote a post titled Korean Dramas I Watched During Quarantine. Since then, I've watched a lot more TV shows and Korean dramas that I'd like to share and write a short review for. We're technically not in strict quarantine these days, but we are still going through the pandemic—thus the slight change in the title. Even though the pandemic is not over yet, I hope you're all staying staying safe and healthy. We've all been praying for this pandemic to end as soon as possible, and we'll keep praying until then. Since last year, I watched some new released shows and also some old ones that I didn't get to watch in the past. I hope this post will give you some ideas if you're running out of things to watch or maybe when you're not in the mood to read any books 😉

Korean Dramas I Watched During Quarantine

Hey there! It's been a while since I last wrote anything on this blog; my last post was published at the start of this year and now we're almost half-way through 2020 😅. This year has been a crazy one so far, I think we all can relate to that. I had a LOT of things planned for this year—including my wedding and also renovating my new apartment, I also had a lot of travel plans—but they all need to be readjusted due to the current circumstances. Anyways, I hope you're all staying safe and healthy, wherever you are; and let's hope this will soon come to pass ❤️. I didn't write any book review since the beginning of this year and wasn't able to find the motivation to do it just yet. So here I am writing mini reviews for all the Korean dramas that I watched during quarantine. I still read a few books, but I think I've spent wayyy more time watching Korean dramas these past few months 🤣🤣. I watched a few new released dramas and also decided to watch some old dramas that I didn't get to see years ago. Hopefully after writing this post I will be able to get a newfound motivation to write book reviews again 😊

TV Series Adaptation Review: Game of Thrones Season 1

I finally watched the first season of Game of Thrones by the end of last month! I know I'm four seasons behind, but I don't really care because I watched this just to refresh my memory before I started reading the second book in A Song of Ice and Fire series: which is A Clash of Kings. I must say, that my experience watching the TV series after having read the book is completely different from those who only watched the TV series. I already know all the major plot points and twists that will happen in the story, so there's barely anything that surprised me. But I will have to say that I still thoroughly enjoyed it nevertheless. I love watching the world along with all the characters in it come to life. There are 10 episodes in this first season; and in this review I will briefly mention the overall plot and discuss my thoughts on this TV series adaptation as well :) *There might be some minor spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution.

TV Series Adaptation Review: Outlander Season 1

Hello! This is the first post of a new feature that I will start on this blog, which is a TV series adaptation review. And to start off this new feature, I'm reviewing a TV series that I didn't plan on watching in the first place: Outlander. I watched it because my Mom loves historical dramas which sets in places like England/Scotland and such. Even though this genre of TV series is not a genre I prefer, I'm still very much intrigued because it received so much love and quite a lot of hype. There are 8 episodes in the first part of season 1, and I will be talking about the overall plot in general as well as my personal opinion about it. Sadly I won't be able to compare it with the original novels because I haven't (and won't) read them. And I will try my best not to spoil too much for those of you who're interested in watching the TV series :)
