Top 5 Wednesday: Couples

image source: here. edited by me.
Back again in another Top 5 Wednesday post! I seriously think time is going by so fast. Anyways, this week's topic is all about OTPs; which is to choose the Top 5 Couples. I might have more than 5 favorite couples, but I'll just list the most memorable ones for me right now. I guess all of my choices are pretty mainstream too, so I guess you might've expected my choices ;)) So here are my favorite couples in no particular order :)

Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark
from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins
First one on the list is one of my all-time favorite fictional boyfriend, Peeta Mellark, and his couple, Katniss. I love this couple mostly because of Peeta, and how much he loves and care for Katniss. And the most emotional moment for this couple happens in Mockingjay :')) I won't spoil everything here, in case some people haven't read the book. But I'm really looking forward to see how the movie adaptation portrayed everything. And as I'm writing this, I really want to reread The Hunger Games trilogy just so I can meet Peeta again :')
Hermoine Granger & Ron Weasley
from The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
The most senior couple on this list, Ron & Hermoine! This couple is the perfect example of opposites attract, and I love that about them. Even though my memory about the Harry Potter series is pretty vague because it's been a very long time, I still adore this couple. I probably should reread this one as well....
Hazel Grace & Augustus Waters
from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
How can I not put this sweet sweet couple on this list? I absolutely love their chemistry that starts off very naturally, and also all of their quotable dialogues. And Augustus Waters is also one of my all-time favorite fictional boyfriends, because he's just the sweetest, cutest person ever. I wouldn't mind listening to your metaphors all day, Augustus ♥
Eleanor Douglas & Park Sheridan
from Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
I also listed this couple in my Taylor Swift Book Tag post, Eleanor & Park. This couple is definitely the extraordinary one; because they're not the mainstream cute girl and cute boy couple. They're not perfect, but they love each other nevertheless—and I think that's a really sweet form of love. Which is accepting the other person as they are, with all their flaws and imperfections.
Allyson Healey & Willem de Ruiter
from Just One Day by Gayle Forman
And the last couple on this list, is a couple who only get to spend one day; and have to wait for another year before finally found each other again. Even though it's just one day, I love their chemistry and sweet interaction; and they spent that one year looking for each other—which definitely means love ♥♥

That's it for this week's Top 5 Wednesday! Who are your favorite OTPs? And even though I really want to keep doing Top 5 Wednesday every week, next week's topic is actually quite difficult: which is to choose Top 5 Rebellion Groups. I don't read many books that includes rebellion, so I might have to skip next week. But I'll be sure to do the last topic of the month, which is Top 5 Books Over 500 Pages. I think I'm quite ready for that one ;)) So see you in next 2 weeks! Bye!

  1. I love Augustus and Hazel too! I haven't read the book yet, but after watching the movie, I'm so in love and want to start reading it. Actually I don't really like Ansel in Divergent, but here in TFIOS he is so different :p
And actually I want to start reading Gone Girl too. Definitely want to check your review before I start reading it. :)

    1. You should read TFIOS it's really good! ;D
I'm still currently reading Gone Girl, but I'll definitely post my review when I'm done with it ;))
