this book won 2010 National Book Critics Circle Award for fiction, and 2011 Pulitzer Prize for fiction!

soooo, this is officially my HOLIDAY read. i'm going on a holidaa~aay, and i'm taking this book along with me. i've been curious for quite a long time about this book; because a while back, A Visit from the Goon Squad received a lot of positive attention. so i decide this will be a good and enjoyable read for my holiday ;) as i've written above, this book won an award and the Pulitzer Price for fiction! i think it's quite amazing :) i'm putting my hopes high for this book! i hope i won't be disappointed ;)
here's the blurb at the back of the book :
National Book Critics Circle Award Winner
PEN/Faulkner Award Finalist
A New York Times Book Review Best Book

One of the Best Books of the Year: Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, The Daily Beast, The Miami Herald, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Newsday, NPR's On Point, O, the Oprah Magazine, People, Publishers Weekly, Salon, San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle Times, Slate, Time, The Washington Post, and Village Voice

Bennie is an aging former punk rocker and record executive. Sasha is the passionate, troubled young woman he employs. Here Jennifer Egan brilliantly reveals their pasts, along with the inner lives of a host of other characters whose paths intersect with theirs. With music pulsing on every page, A Visit from the Goon Squad is a startling, exhilarating novel of self-destruction and redemption.

my next post will be about me going on a holiday, and a little news for everyone!
