Top 5 Wednesday: Red Covers

.

We have officially entered the month of February and to start off this month, I decided to do another Top 5 Wednesday post which is always fun to make. This week, the prompt is to list some books with red covers—which I think is very fitting because this month we celebrated Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day that involves a lot of red colors. In this post, I will include 5 books with red covers that I'm planning to read within this year. I think it will be more fun instead of listing books that I've already read in the past. So here they are, listed in no particular order πŸ˜‰.

Top 5 Wednesday: Books I'm Thankful For

.

It's been so long since I last did a Top 5 Wednesday post; the last one I wrote was back in January 2019 😱. I was actually looking for a non-review blog post idea when I stumbled upon this topic for November 2021—which I'm really excited to talk about because books certainly play a huge role in my life. Through many years of reading, books have changed my perspective, made me understand myself better, and allowed me to experience various different lives through the characters that I read. So in this post, I'm going to list 5 books that I'm thankful for along with the reasons why I chose them. Here they are, listed in no particular order 😊.

Top 5 Wednesday: Largest Books on My TBR

.

This topic is actually from November's list of Top 5 Wednesday, but I guess it's okay to do it now. It's very rare for me to read a large book because it usually take me a really long time to finish it. But in this post, I'm going to list some of the longest books that I currently have on my TBR (to-be-read) list. Even though I don't know when I'll read these books, I guess this will be a good reminder that I still have to read them someday. Here are the books, listed from smallest to the largest.

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Covers (2018)

.

I've shown a lot of my favorite covers in the past, and this week's Top 5 Wednesday is yet another one about book covers—that is why I am exceptionally excited about the topic. However, this time I will do it a bit differently than the previous ones I did. I usually chose my favorite from books that I have already read. This time, I randomly browsed from books that are released in 2018 and picked the ones that caught my attention. I had a great time because I love browsing for books and it's the perfect time to judge them by their covers πŸ˜‚. So here are my picks, listed in no particular order.

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorites You'd Like to Revisit

.

Hello! Here we are again with another Top 5 Wednesday post—because I'm very behind in posting my book reviews (I still have 3 in my drafts that I haven't finished yet) πŸ˜‚. This time, the topic I'm going to talk about is some of my favorite books that I'd like to revisit. I actually have a lot of books that I really want to reread because I think they would serve as a reminder for me from time to time. However, there are always new books that interests me and I don't know if I'll ever have time to reread older books. Well, whether I'll be able to do it or not, here's my list of favorites that I'd like to revisit when I can 😊.

Top 5 Wednesday: Best Books You've Read So Far in 2018

.

We've gone through the first half of 2018, so it's time to take a look back at the books I've read these past 6 months. So far I've read 24 books and there are several that have become my favorites. There's also a Top Ten Tuesday tag for this topic, but I don't think I have that many books to list, so I decided to stick with Top 5 Wednesday instead. This was supposed to be the topic for the first week of July, but what can I do, I don't really have that much time to write these days 😌. Without further ado, here are some of my favorite books that I've read so far in 2018 (in no particular order) 😊.

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Want to Read Before the End of the Year

.

Hello! Back again with another Top 5 Wednesday post! This week's topic is not necessarily new, because I've done several posts that are similar to this one. That's why this time around I will carefully choose the books that I really want to read before this year ends. Usually, I pick book series that I'm really interested in; but this time I will choose 5 standalone books that I'm dying to read very soon—hopefully before the year ends. So here they are!

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Didn't Get to in 2017

.
image source: here. edited by me.
Welcome back to another Top 5 Wednesday! My gosh, it's been a bit more than 2 years since I've posted one of these. This year, my goal is to bring back my blog from the dead πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. So when I was browsing for blog post ideas aside from book reviews, I came back to the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads. This topic really caught my attention because there are SO MANY books that I didn't get to in 2017. Last year, I only get to read 18 books 😭😭 (#shameonme); so this year I set my 2018 Goodreads Reading Challenge to 50 books (at least). And in this post, there might not be specifically only 5 books, but more like a set of books because some includes series that I really want to read! Okay, so here's the list in no particular order πŸ˜‰.

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You're Thankful For

.
image source: here. edited by me.
I haven't posted a Top 5 Wednesday post in a very long time. And since I ran out of posts to write these days, I thought this week's topic is pretty interesting to talk about. The topic is to list the Top 5 Books You're Thankful For; and right after I saw the topic, I already have a list of books at the top of my head. I also have some of the books reviewed already, so you can read them if you're interested :) Here are the books in no particular order.

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Books of the Year So Far!

.
image source: here. edited by me
It's been a month since I last did a Top 5 Wednesday post, but I feel like it's relevant to do this post since we're already half-way through 2015. Actually Top Ten Tuesday also have this topic for June but I don't think I can choose up to ten books. So that's why I'm going with just 5 for this one :)) I've read 42 books so far in 2015, and I have discovered some pretty amazing books. So here are my Top 5 Favorite Books of the Year So Far! And this time I'm putting my list in order, starting from number 5. You can click on the book titles to read my book reviews as well ;)

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You'd Want to See as TV Shows

.
image source: here. edited by me.
I only joined once in last month's Top 5 Wednesday, but hopefully it'll be different this month because the topics are quite interesting. As for the first topic in May is to choose Top 5 Books You'd Want to See As TV Shows. I don't watch a lot of TV shows, but if my favorite books are adapted into one, I will surely watch it faithfully. Sometimes movie adaptations didn't do justice to my favorite books/series, so I wish it would be adapted into a TV show—in which it can follow the original story and not mess up the plot. Here's my list in no particular order :)

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Wanted to Start Yesterday

.
image source: here. edited by me.
Hello hello! It's the time for another Top 5 Wednesday! I missed last week's topic because I couldn't find 5 people to list as my favorite jokester. But I think it'll be quite easy for this week's topic which is to choose Top 5 Books You Wanted to Start Yesterday. I honestly have so many books I want to read, and I scheduled to read them but they always get pushed back further and further.... Most of the time the reason these books got pushed is because of books that I received from publishers that I have to read first. Anyways, I'm going to list the books I wanted to start yesterday with hope that I'll get to these books very very soon! So here's the list in no particular order ;)

Top 5 Wednesday: Bookish Habits

.
image source: here. edited by me.
Here we are again with another Top 5 Wednesday post! This week's topic is about my Top 5 Bookish Habits. I think I mentioned about my bookish/reading habits quite a lot in this blog; I mentioned several when I joined the 15 Day Book Blogging Challenge, a little bit in my A to Z Bookish Survey post, and also some in my Top Ten Book Related Problems I Have. So this time, I will try my best to mention something new that I never mentioned before (even though I think I have mentioned everything I could think of in the past). And here's my list of bookish habits! :)

Top 5 Wednesday: Books That Made You Think

.
image source: here. edited by me.
It's been quite a long time since I made a Top 5 Wednesday post, because I wasn't really interested in the February topics. But now I'm back with this week's topic which is to choose Top 5 Books that Made You Think. I really like this topic because I'm a huge fan of books that can make me think. So I'm going to list the books that I love that made me think about lots of different things :) And here's the list in no particular order ;) (You can click the book title to see my Goodreads review/full book review)

Top 5 Wednesday: Series You Want to Start This Year

.
image source: here. edited by me.
We're back with Top 5 Wednesday! If you followed this blog last year, you'll know that I made a similar post in early 2014 called: Top Ten Series I Want to Read This Year ♥, which I consider a fail because I only get to 3/10 listed series (Maze Runner trilogy, The Giver Quartet, and Hannibal Lecter series). This week's topic is to choose Top 5 Series You Want to Start This Year. That's why I might choose some from last year's list, or add newer series that I'm interested to read in 2015. I have tons of series on my TBR pile, but reading series is one of my bookish goals/resolutions this year, so hopefully I'll finish these series soon! Here's the list in no particular order!

Top 5 Wednesday: Historical Books

.
image source: here. edited by me.
Welcome backkk to another Top 5 Wednesday! This month's topic is to choose Top 5 Historical Fiction and it's actually quite difficult for me to do. Over the years of reading, I don't read much historical fiction books—even though I enjoyed reading them. After making this post, I'm seriously considering to read more books from that genre, because some of the books I listed below are my favorite books. Without further delay, here are my top historical fiction books in no particular order.

Top 5 Wednesday: Series Titles

.
image source: here. edited by me.
The first December topic for this month's Top 5 Wednesday! I was quite confused about this topic because I wondered if it's too choose the best books or only the titles. But after considering for a while, I've finally decided to interpret it literally. Which is to choose Top 5 Series Titles! So in this post, I will just consider the titles, neglecting the fact whether I loved the series or not. To be honest, I don't read that many series (even though I really enjoy them), so some of the series titles I listed in this post I have not read yet. But here are my choices for the top series titles, in no particular order.

Top 5 Wednesday: Books Over 500 Pages

.
image source: here. edited by me.
We're at the last Top 5 Wednesday for this month! And this week's topic is to choose Top 5 Books Over 500 Pages. I really wish I had read a lot more thick books that are over 500 pages, but it turns out I don't have that many to choose from. I actually really love thick books, because there can be lots of in depth development for the characters and the story as well. However, they do took much longer to read—especially books in English. But I really enjoyed reading these thick books that I'm going to list in this post, in no particular order ;))

Top 5 Wednesday: Couples

.
image source: here. edited by me.
Back again in another Top 5 Wednesday post! I seriously think time is going by so fast. Anyways, this week's topic is all about OTPs; which is to choose the Top 5 Couples. I might have more than 5 favorite couples, but I'll just list the most memorable ones for me right now. I guess all of my choices are pretty mainstream too, so I guess you might've expected my choices ;)) So here are my favorite couples in no particular order :)

Top 5 Wednesday: Red Covers

.
image source: here. edited by me.
November topics for Top 5 Wednesday sounds pretty exciting, so I decided to join in as well this month—and also to add variety in my blog's contents. The first topic of the month is pretty simple, and I don't have that many to choose from either. As you can read from the title, this week topic is to choose Top 5 Red Covers. I actually already picked 2 red books for the Taylor Swift Book Tag (which I have scheduled, and will be published soon), so I'm going to pick another 5 besides those two. Here's the list of red covers I love, in no particular order ;)
