Anything But Books Tag

.
image source: here. edited by me.
It's been a very long time since I did one of these tags. I discovered this one through The Literary Huntress, which is basically a tag about all things other than books. I guess this is a pretty nice break from all the book reviews, especially since I'm out of town for a while so I can't get a lot of reading done. So here are my 11 picks for all things aside from books ๐Ÿ˜Š.

1. Name a cartoon that you love.

I don't watch a lot of cartoon these days, but the last one that I watched which is close to a cartoon is Sword Art Online anime series. It's a pretty old anime but I only get to watch it recently. My favorite one from the series is the Gun Gale Online episodes; because it's so action-packed, exciting, and intriguing at the same time. I love Sinon's character in this series! She's so cool with her hecate sniper rifle <3

2. What is your favorite song right now?

I have a lot of songs that I love to listen, but I decided to choose this one: For the One by Brian & Jenn Johnson. It's a song that really touched my heart because it's about love and compassion for people whom God loves—which literally means everybody. Such a beautiful and heartwarming song ๐Ÿค—.
Help me to love with open arms, like You do
A love that erases all the lines, and sees the truth
Oh, that when they look in my eyes, they would see You
Even in just a smile; they would feel the Father's love

3. What could you do for hours that isn't reading?

Definitely watching Korean-dramas! Once I'm hooked with a series, I can do nothing else but binge-watch all the episodes that are available. There have been times when I neglected the book that I'm currently reading just to watch another episode. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Watching Youtube is also another thing that I love to do besides reading.

4. What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

I don't know if anyone would be surprised, but I love decluttering. Every once in a while, I would look at all my stuff and throw / give away things that I don't like / need anymore. I've been really into minimalist living these days, so I'm all about having less stuff.

5. What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about?

For me, it has to be Korean language. Since being a k-pop fan years ago, I've been eagerly learning Korean through various online classes that are available. Especially because compared to other languages, I think learning Korean is more doable (I find Mandarin and Japanese really difficult to learn).

6. What is something unusual that you know how to do?

I guess I know a bit of HTML stuff due to years of blogging. Is that an unusual thing to do? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm not really an extraordinary person to be exact.

7. Name something you made in the last year and show us if you can.

Since last year, I've started making my own Bullet Journal. I discovered it first on Youtube and over the past year I've managed to create a journal that suits my needs. Mostly I use my bullet journal to write my day-to-day to-do lists. I also have several trackers in my bullet journal, including habit trackers, books that I read, movies that I watched, TV series that I'm currently watching, and also keeping track of things that I purchased online. Having a bullet journal seriously have made my life a lot easier.

8. What is your most recent personal project?

Part of my bullet journal that I mentioned in the previous question, my most recent personal project is having a Gratitude Log—in which I write something to be grateful of every single day. It's a good reminder that there's always something to be thankful for each day, no matter how bad that day is.

9. Tell us something that you think about often?

I actually think about food a lot ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. I think mostly because I see a lot of culinary references on social media, so I tend to think about them and want to try them out.

10. Give us something that is your favorite.

Sleep is one my favorite thing in the world ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Whenever I get inside my warm blanket, set my head on my pillow, that's one of the best feelings ever. LOL.

11. Say the first thing that pops into your head.

God has a purpose for everything. I don't know why that pops into my mind suddenly. I think because today, as I'm writing this post, something tragic happened in the city where I live. But I always believe that despite everything that happened, God is still in control. And we do not need to worry. ๐Ÿ˜Š

That's it for this tag! Hope you enjoyed this post that's not book-related ๐Ÿ˜Š.
Feel free to post your own picks and share it in the comments below, I'll be glad to check it out!
